Star Wars Episode VIII has a titel

On the Star Wars Twitter (Link), the people of Disney finally revealed the name of Episode 8 of the Star Wars Saga and a first poster. 

The Last Jedi not only has a nice ring to it, but combined with the poster gives us plenty to speculate. The last Jedi of course refers to Luke Skywalker, who will have a lot more to do in the new movie. In an interview director Ryan Johnson not only revealed that ep. 8 will pick up right where ep. 7 left, but will also focus on Luke and his relation to Rey.

So does the title only refer to Luke? Since "Jedi" doesn't have a plural, it could also mean Luke and Rey are the last Jedi. Rey is definitely going to start her training as a Jedi and if she finishes it by the end of the movie, the title would work.

Going darker, it could also hint at Rey being to last Jedi by the end of the movie.

Interesting about the poster is the red text "Star Wars". Red being the color of the sith, it might foreshadow some dark things to come (like Lukes death).

Luke Skywalker possibly dying in Ep. 8 would be tragic, especially after the death of Carrie Fisher. To think we might not have any of the big 3 in Episode 9 is a truly tragic thought.

However it may come, now that Rogue One is out in cinemas, the details and information for Episode 8 are starting to drip in. We are full ahead now for the next Star Wars movie.
